The information and program qualifications related to the Computer Engineering Bachelor of Science Program, under the Department of Computer Engineering of the ITU-TRNC Education-Research Campuses, are summarized below.
Information About The Program
Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
Computer Engineering Department gives education and carries out research on software development, computer architecture, automatic control systems, computer networks & communication systems, artificial intelligence & robotics and computer aided design. Our graduates are entitled to the Computer Engineer title. People graduated from this programme can both work at public and private corporations in various areas such as designing, building and operating IT systems, software development and advisory in computer engineering issues.
Starting from 2021-2022 term, students will be admitted to 100% English program of ITU-TRNC Computer Engineering.
