Information About The Program
This is program is run by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and SUNY New Paltz. It has been admitting students since 2003. Students will complete their first and second year, fall semester of the third year at ITU and spring semester of the third year, summer session of third year and fourth year at SUNY New Paltz. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a diploma from both ITU and SUNY New Paltz.
The period of study is 4 years and the medium of the program is English. To begin their studies, students must receive a required TOEFL score . Those who cannot achieve proficiency in the language are to attend a preparatory program in English at ITU. Students are allowed up to 2 years to complete the preparatory program.
The payment is to be made in TL currency while studying at ITU and in US Dollar while studying at SUNY New Paltz. Registered students take ITU courses at the ITU Maçka Campus (Istanbul) and take SUNY courses at SUNY New Paltz (New Paltz, NY, USA).
The Students who complete their program successfully at these recognized universities will have the right to work legally in their field of study for a certain period in the United States via Optional Practical Training (OPT).

ITU SUNY Business Dual Diploma Program provides graduates with the infrastructure, knowledge, vision and global experience so that they;
1. Use a wide range of career opportunities from the manufacturing industry in Turkey and abroad to the advertising sector, from capital markets, banking and insurance services to tourism, from information to media. Thanks to the qualifications sought in today's business world and the experience of ITU and SUNY New Paltz's overseas experience, they work at various levels at these organisations successfully.
2. Engage in the leading academic and / or research institutions of the world, completing postgraduate and / or doctoral programs of respected universities in which they can conduct original research activities in related disciplines .
3. Establish and develop companies operating in various business lines using entrepreneurial skills.

Student success is evaluated in consideration of Articles 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25 of the Istanbul Technical University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation.
